Married Lisa Sorondo (Fresno High '72) in 1973 and she still puts up with me. No children, we just got busy with life. Moved out of Fresno in 1978 and have always felt it was a great place to grow up back then. Fulton Mall in the late 60's, cruising Belmont, Starlight Drive-In, Crimson Castle, things we all remember well. Went to Ft Miller Jr High where our orchestra under Mr Kronberg won best in a city-wide competition and they somehow cut an LP of it, which I still have a copy! weird! ...but cool. McLane was the bomb! Seemed like I had a lot of shop classes though (electronics, drafting, metal and auto shop) so wasn't the typical high school student. (Maybe I was?) It all paid off though. Graduated Deans List at FCC and instead of accepting a scholarship to UCLA became a finance manager in Fresno, San Diego and San Jose. Steve Troth (class of '70) and I opened an HVAC company in Madera where I remained for 14 years spending most of my time working for FMC Corp as a supervisor in their design engineering department. Moved to Costa Mesa (Orange County) and worked as Director of Operations over all departments related to manufacturing and engineering for two sister companies and relocated both, one to VA.
