Benjemine's Story
Life
Separated, have had two children, lost one, been in uniform for about ten years now. I started off on active duty in the Navy, then switched to the Navy reserves, I was recalled to active duty with the Navy after 9/11, then I was back in the reserves, switched to the Army reserves, and I am now on acive duty with the Army, pending separation.
Military
Well, it was already covered somewhat in my life bio, but, here goes. I started off in Navy basic in 1996 in "Great Mistakes" Illinois as we called it. I got my first duty station in Japan after I had completed my basic and job training ...Expand for more
with the Navy. I spent about three years there in main land Japan, sailed a few times, on a few different ships, got to see most of aisia, and some of the middle east. Got off of active duty, and went into the reserves with the Navy, I was recalled after 9-11 to go and be a part of the Naval security detachment in Okinawa, Japan. After I was done there, I stayed in the Navy reserves for a little while longer, switching to the Army reserves in 2004, and switching again to Army active duty in 2005, that is about where things stand now. I am on active duty in the Army, pending possible separation.
