Kathy's Story

I've been married to my hubby for 29 years and have three kids all in college. Two are studying at GVSU and one is in his doctoral program at University of Toronto. I currently teach fourth grade at Ida Elementary School in Monroe County, Michigan. I started out teaching the deaf for the first 5 years. I love my job! My memeories of high school are pretty fuzzy. to DeWitt in eighth grade and it was a hard adjustment. I've never run into anyone I went to high school with since graduation and have only stayed in touch with two people (Cheryl Burke and Robin Hobbs). I'm not too sure anyone will remember much about me. The little one in the picture with me is my grandneice who passed away a couple years ago. We all miss her very much.
