Shaun Bennett:  

At Berkmar I was mainly involved in Wrestling. I was in the Singing Patriots for a year, was in three plays, was on the Newspaper staff, but wrestling was my main interest. I was JV my freshman year, and Varsity my Sophomore and Junior years. I left Berkmar right before our senior year, to move to Lubbock, Tx. I wrestled there, but the program was pretty lame. I graduated from Monterey H.S. there, and then traveled with the Continental Singers through the USA and Eastern Canada the summer of 1982. I went to Texas Tech University, and received my degree in Human Development and Family Studies. When I graduated I moved to Guam for two years as a Journeyman Missionary with the Southern Baptist Convention. I was a Youth and Music Minister there. It was there that I met my wife, Maria. She is from the Philippines, and had moved to Guam with her family 5 years before we met.
