Judy's Story

I was at River East for all of high school (grades 9-12), 1962-66. Since then, I've lived in Regina and Moose Jaw (SK), Burlington and Stoney Creek (ON), Quebec City PQ, and in Guinea, West Africa. I've been back in Burlington for nearly 11 years and am working to build my own home-based business since being down-sized from Lafarge in 2007. My 2 child...Expand for more
ren have left the 'nest' ... one is married and about to graduate from the Univ of Regina and the other is in 2nd year at the Univ of Winnipeg. My children have taught me that home isn't bricks and mortar ... it's the people who make up the family. That has made it easier to detach from the bricks and mortar in the various places where we've lived.
