Life
Remember me? I was the guy who stuttered. You probably remember me as being kind of quiet. I still do stutter, but I have learned to cope with it and get on with my life. I graduated from Wayne State University with a Liberal Arts degree in English and History. I have worked for a leading Defense Contractor, General Dynamics Land Systems, in Sterling Heights, Mi. 34 years. I retired in May, 2011 I have been married for 42 years and have two grown children. son 37 I also have two grandchildren, a grandson who is 12 and a granddaughter who is 6. For 10 years , I have was a co-leader of a support group for people who stutter, at Beaumont Hospital, in Royal Oak, Mi. I have appeared in articles in the Royal Oak Tribune and the Detroit Free Press. I am currently a Regional Chapter Coordinator for the National Stuttering Association, the worlds largest self help organization for people who stutter.
