Jack's Story
Gosh where do I start.
I am a former FBI agent and Yavapai County Probation officer now retired residing in Prescott.
I am divorced with two children. My son is 36 and my daughter is 30. I have two grandchildren by my son, ages 7 & 3. My son is a lab tech at the Px VA and my daughter works at a Px law firm.
After high school, I began work as a clerk for the FBI while attending Px college.
From 1971-1972, I was on active duty with the Naval Reserve and assigned to Morocco where my son was born. While in Morocco, the military attempted a coup against the king. Since I was assigned to naval intelligence, we destroyed classified documents as the Moroccan military surrounded our base. After the coup failed, I travel Europe by car. While in Morocco I met a former West High classmate named Bill Bailey in a laundry mat. He was traveling the world and just stopped in to do his laundry.
After my discharge from active duty, I completed my education at ASU and returned to the FBI as an agent. I was assigned to Los Angeles and Ne...Expand for more
w York City. I was able to obtain a masters degree before a 6 year special assignment.
While going through a very emotional divorce, I left New York and returned to Az. After briefly working for a Superior Court judge, I moved to Prescott and began employment as a probation officer.
Although retired, I work on a contract basis with the probation department teaching probationers how to change their attitudes, beliefs and behaviors.
I have started traveling again. Last year I was in Hong Kong and India. This year I was in Paris and Venice.
I became a Bill Williams Mountain Man in 2008 after riding my palomino mare on a 200 mile, wk long rendezvous ride from Williams to New River.
Although my path has crossed with various former West High classmates, the only person I have maintained contact with is Gari Basham who resides in Cottonwood.
I plan on attending the reunion and look forward to being in contact with "old" friends again.
I will put some before and after photos on this site as soon as I learn how to do it.
