Life
As a junior, I moved back to Louisiana with my family, Brothers, Bob, Dave, Bill, John, Eric, and sisters, Alison & Marian. Graduated the following 1/2 year, and worked offshore in the oil field, during the summers, and college breaks, delivering vessels to the oilfields in North, South, and Central America. Also the North Sea, Middle East, and Africa. Brother David was killed in a car accident in 1982. I was in my junior year at Southeastern La. University. Switched schools, attended LSU. Graduated, w/ BA degree in Marketing, and in Business. Worked various jobs, from car sales to retail, hotel/restaurant, medical staffing, HMO Administrator, and ran an Employee staffing company for a few years. Went to work for Bristol-Myers Squibb, and at the same time, met and married a woman I had been in love with for 7 years......Janel. She is my soulmate. After a whirlwind romance, and 22, -sometimes difficult years, Janel is my love, my wife, and is still my very best friend. We have 3 children, all girls, ranging in age from 13 yrs to 33 yrs, whom I would do anything for. I Fell offf the 2nd floor roof 8 ye...Expand for more
ars ago and broke 4 ribs, 2 arms and my left Fib & Tib, and the following year, skied off a cliff at Brighton in Utah and re-broke the leg, driving the pin I had from the previous year up under my kneecap where it lodged in my femur. This year, in March, had some chest pain and found I had a congentitl valve defect in my heart, and in looking at it, my cardiologist found two 90% blockages that occurred when my broken ribs creased my heart muscle way back when. Had a double bypass, and a valve replacement the day after my 50th birthday and was back to work full time 3 weeks later. I love to cruise, love the islands, skiing, and time with my family. LIFE IS PRETTY DAMN GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Update: Laid off in late March,2009. Amazed that a company I gave my life to could do that to me! I was very fortunate to find a job very quickly, after only 4 months. Now working in Sleep and Respiratory Medicine for Philips Electronics, --Respironics. Still in San Antonio and doing great! What a blessing losing my job! I never would have found this new position. Very happy, and wish you all the best that life can give you.
