Bert's Story
Hi my name is Bert Little. When I moved to Warrenton I was in the 6th grade. Attended Fort Stevens Jr High,then WHS until 1970. I had a good time in school and remember MR. Dickeman (forgot spelling) was my first teacher in 6th grade. Joined the band as base drummer, loved it. Played sports and tried hard to get good grades, some came hard for me then. Now I have switched jobs after 30 years of tow boating to teaching basic seamanship classes at Clatsop College (Merts Department). Up to now I joined Navy after school, 8 years,then right into tow boat...Expand for more
ing. Got divorced and remarried to a great lady (Debbie) now since 2001. I re-entered the Oregon Army Nat'L Guard will retire from that next year. 22 years total. I have four children two from first marrage and two from second. 10 grandchildren and love them all. Still live in same house on Perking Road. Have remodeled house inside and tring to keep up the outside. It's tough work at this age. My mom still lives in same house by High School walks 2 miles everyday when nice out. We like like to got to Portland to the Zoo and plays at the Kellers theather.
