I completed my PhD in Physics at UCLA and began working on optical systems for StarWars. I became manager for most of the optics work at Rockwell in Canoga Park and then moved on to San Diego to work in a small firm in the same area. Subsequently I joined the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory In N. California and held a senior position. I left Aerospace and became involved with start-up activities in ophthalmology.
