Bert's Story
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1982. I have worked all over the country in a wide variety of clinical settings and geographical locations. I have received certification as a Specialist in Poison Information, a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and a Certified Nurse Operating Room. I am currently House Supervisor at Spectrum Health, Reed City Hospital in Reed City, MI. I also hold the Master of Divinity and I am an ordained minister. I served as Senior Pastor for six years. ry. I have been married to Melody since August 11, 1984 and we have 3 great kids. Jacob, born August 28, 1988, Caleb, born November 17, 1992 and Abby, born July 14, 2005, who is the joy of my life. She was our little surprize but we sure are glad she surprized us. We live on 20 wooded acres in rural Mecosta County. We love family activities like swimming in the pool, camping, and going to movies. I love to cook and I am always making something new. My wife Melody is also a Registered Nurse. She works for Hospice of Michigan in Big Rapids. I hope some of my old classmate will write and let me know what has happened in the last 30 years.
