Beryl's Story
Life
I left Owen Sound & moved back to TO.(No surprise there) I spent all my working life in the Credit field. Had a daughter (Michelle) in 1975 & raised her as a single parent since 1977. I retired early & sold my house in Brampton in 2003 & moved to Hastings Ontario, (on the Trent River.) My house was built in 1893 on just over 1/4 acre. I am an avid gardener, my property is all gardens & a large goldfish pond, I got very involved with fostering dogs (since 1994.) Of course I have adopted many & they live with me until they pass away,,,,I own 4 dogs at the moment (all rescues) I find it totally gratifying to watch them become happy & well adjusted. hey vacation etc..there are some days when I have 7 dogs at a time. so fun & of course I am leader of the pack. LOLOLO
I am also an antique lover & spend time looking for bargains on items that I like. I have a large collection of Beswick horses, pears (Glass, marble, stone Etc.)& old China.
I have been fortunate enough to have travelled a fair bit through the years for both Business & Pleasure & am very content these days to stay put.
I gave up singing many years ago, my daughter became better than I ever was but she is more interested in her career as well. Her favourite saying is "you know Mom Leaf / Tree" She & her significant other live in a condo overlooking Lake Ontario & He teaches Phys Ed in Swansea.
