Bess's Story
Life
Dear Friends,
I left McCallum right after Sophmore
year when my family moved to
Chicago. But friends from McCallum
and Lamar remain in my heart and
on my mind. I finished prep school
in Chicago then headed to Boston for
college (Tufts University '87). Got my
masters in Journalism from
Northwestern U and then headed to
Wa...Expand for more
shington D.C. where I've lived for
the past 12 years. After many years
working on Capitol Hill, including a
stint as Chief of Staff for U.S. Rep.
Bobby Rush, I headed to the private
sector to cash out as a media and
political consultant! I still miss
Texas and all of you! I'd love to hear
from Orchestra and Blue Brigade
friends.
