Beth's Story
Life
Life has been sort of fast and busy for me. I left Nashville for the last time in 1982 and headed back to New York. Did a stint in the New England and Mid-Atlantic States before moving to the Metro-Atlanta area where I've been now for the last 22 years. My kids well young men are practically grown. The oldest is out of the military and has returned to grad school in the fall of '09. My youngest has 1 semester left in college, but of course has hopes for grad school as well. Have reunited and am planning a future with my high school sweetheart (McGavock). Who would've thunk it! I guess we really had some unfinished business (smile). Yeah, wow... I don't know if life gets better than this. It's like I'm young enough to start a whole new life but with 45+ years of wisdom to look at a lot of stuff and go hummmm....oh yeah and...hell naw! LOL LMAO..Love ya, Bethie (yeah Priscilla you know that last statement reeks of you my dear friend).

Alumni. I lived in North High School's Zone and I love the folks that I grew up with who ended up at North, Maplewood, Pearl and Stratford. I put my self in ths site as a "friend" of North High School and Maplewood High School, and as a graduate/student of McGavock but the cybergods here for some reason don't recognize that. Anyway continuing, I don't come to Nashville that often I still want to always maintain that connection. No, I'm not sharing my biggest crush...like I can remember anyway.
My dad tells that Smithy McClain and Darwin McClain are my cousins. Smithy does have features similiar to my great grandfather Hugh and my grandfather's sister. Darwin has features similiar features to my grandfather. The world is much smaller than you realize.
Workplace
If I told you ...you might believe me...one of 2007's nobel prize winners for his Stem Cell Research is one of my teams client that I directly support Now well...if I told you well... I'll just say I get to work with some really smart people who are really nice.
