Beth's Story
Here is the low down/dirty in 1000 words or less: Graduated from ASU in 1983 w/ a Bachelors' degree in Nursing, joined the US Air Force, was stationed in San Antonio, Texas X 5 years, got married, then stationed in Anchorage, Alaska X 3 years. Deployed to Germany during Gulf War 1991 to fly Aeromedical Evacuation (flight nurse), returned & divorced that guy, moved to Seattle, flew Med Evac for Air Force Reserve X 10 years, married swell #2 Jeff Drake(Firefighter/medic), continue...Expand for more
d to work in nursing (critical care, trauma ICU, recovery room, nursing educator, school nurse), deployed w/ Air Force to Iraq 2006, retired from Air Force Reserve early 2008, went to work for the US Army, counseling & coordinating care for Iraq & Afghanistan vets.
WHEW! No kids, a few dogs along the way, quite a bit of craziness in my travels but all in all, Life is Very Good. I now live Tacoma, WA & would love to hear from any of you out there - I have been gone a long time!
