Beth's Story
Life
North Side HS Visitors - My father is/was Dale Goon, teacher at NS HS. He died in October 1999 of throat cancer at the age of 75. He loved teaching and loved his students. He was not only a great teacher but a fantastic father. One of his favorite things was when a student would stop and chat with him in grocery or hardware stores on a Saturday morning. He knew Algebra was not a "favorite" subject but LOVED teaching it, especially when he saw "the light go on" in students that finally got it. He had many students show up at his funeral, his family thanks those of you who were able to make it. Dale Goon is missed by many.

Paul received his Masters with honors from Leeds University in England. Paul got married in 2008. Paul currently lives in Texas with his beautiful bride, Audrey. Paul and Audrey met in Korea when they were both there teaching English.
Mary Beth has her bachelors in biology but is a practicing nurse in NJ. Mary has gone back to school for her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Mary got married in June 2006 to her high school sweetheart, Steven Pantina. Mary had her first baby, a girl, Cassidy Renee on September 23, 2013.
Barney and I love to travel. Our favorite trips were Viet Nam in March of 2000 and Munich, Germany in 2011. We currently live in Nashville Tennessee with our four dogs, two birds, hamster and betta fish.
