Walt and I are avid sailors, spending weekend time on our 25' sailboat on the Columbia River. We travel a lot, play at gardening, and have recently become owners of a 1911 Ford Touring car which my grandfather bought new- thinking seriously about joining the local Model T club. We go to Puerto Vallarta once a year at least - love it there!
Would love to hear from any of you, especially those who live in the Pacific Northwest.
College
I went to San Diego State for one year and then went to work. After marrying and having children I started going to night school to keep my brain active, then to assist in my career. I also took music classes - just for my own benefit. As we moved around the western US, I continued to take classes - first at Glendale College, then University of Utah, Idaho State University and Boise State College. I graduated from Clark College in June 2004 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science - Paralegal with a gpa of 3.97.
Workplace
I started working in the Financial Services Industry in 1965. I started as a switchboard operator, then teller, bookkeeper, operations manager, branch manager, loan officer, quality control officer. I worked in California and then later when we moved to Washington, I worked in Oregon. I recently completed my certification as a paralegal and have a business called Paralegal Document Services. I work from home so that I can care for two of my grandchildren as well.
