Beth's Story
I have retired from the Federal Government on 1 July 2014. I have 34 years with the Government and my husband has 35 years and now we are ready to relax. No more getting up with an alarm and going to work in bad weather.
I enjoy crocheting and knitting.
I started with the Government in 1970 I moved to Washington, D.C. then in 1976 I left the Government and moved to Iowa. In 1977 after my husband went into the Army we moved to Ft. Riley, Kansas. My hu...Expand for more
sband left the Army in 1978 and we stayed in Kansas. I went back to work for the Government in 1985 and worked at Ft. Riley, KS until 1996 in Finance and Accounting Office when the jobs were moved to Lawton, Oklahoma. We stay there until the Lawton Defense Finance and Accounting Office closed 2006. Then we followed our jobs to Rome, New York. And we stayed there for 7-1/2 years when we retired 1 July 2014. Now we are back in Kansas for our retirement.
