Beth's Story
6/5/2013 Who am I? Still Bethy at heart. A bit more jaded but much more settled. Aging seems to do that, not a bad thing at all. Not as nervous around people as I used to be. Got over 'angry' many years ago.
Where have I been? Gosh, all over. Southern Calif., Hawaii, Northern Calif., Illinois briefly, Mississippi briefly, Northeast Fl., Stuart, Fl., North Central Florida.
I'm a retired nurse now. Took a while to get used to being single after an 18 year relationship but I've learned to love it and wouldn't have it any other way. I'm trying to remember my family history and send the info to a neice who friended me on facebook the other day, while I still have some memory left (s...Expand for more

I've been doing some minor remodeling of a friend's home the past 6 months. It is almost done, just a little painting and some cleaning left, mostly outside. Good projects with no pressures or deadlines.
I will be the great-grandmother of twins in a few months. Great-grandmother, geesh. I never thought I'd live to see the day!
I love visiting the BITD site Joni has. Reminiscing about the old 'hood. Some places haven't been mentioned, like "The Hole" and ICTHIUS (sp?) and what was it we called the girls smoking bathroom down the middle hall? It will probably come to me in the middle of the night in about three days...
