duated from Delano High School in 1964 and attended Bakersfield College before moving to the San Francisco Bay area in 1965. He was drafted in 1967 and served 12 months in Vietnam from April 1968 to April 1969. His wife Beth Ramseyer Whitworth moved with her family while growing up, attended Weatherwax High School in Aberdeen, WA and graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in Concord, CA in 1967. She and Bob were married in May1969.
