Beth Walsh:  

MASSACHUSETTS COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN In 1998, I began studies at Mass College of Art and Design. In 2003 I graduated summa cum laude with a dual degree in art history and painting. After graduating, I was the director of a non-profit gallery. I devised and executed a plan for rehab and preparation for opening to the public and we held art exhibits featuring emerging artists and hosted open mic nights and performances. In 2008-2009 I studied digital media and specialized in audio and video editing. I then took my skills to Cambridge Community Television where I continued training as a cameraperson, lighting and audio technician. Since 2009 I have produced and/or collaborated on many projects such as short documentaries, educational and promotional pieces, dramatic works, music videos, interviews and a wide variety of local events. I paint at my studio in The Distillery, a large artist building in South Boston.
