Hi, Class of 1967!
Can't believe it has been 56 years since we said goodbye to good ol' Conant High! We have our 55+1 year reunion on August 18/19. 2023 at the Double Tree Hotel in Arlington Heights - 75 W. As for what I have been up to, I retired from teaching in 2005, after having worked in only two Chicago Public Schools for 34 years straight. Can’t believe I have been retired for 18 years! I still keep in touch with 3 of my former first and second grade students. Two of the “kids” have children of their own now. I feel like the grandma! 😊

have any so-called hobbies that have kept me busy. I manage to find plenty of things to do around the house and in the yard. Now, that my husband of 44 yrs., Wally, decided to retire in 2015, we seem to be busier than ever. It's nice not to be on a time schedule! Unfortunately. we do spend more time now, scheduling doctors’ appointments. The body isn’t as good as it used to be! 😩
We had the opportunity to take a trip to Israel, right before the pandemic set in. We went with a church group from January 9-16, 2020. It was a trip of a lifetime! We had planned to take our second trip this past February, but due to some health issues, we decided not to go. So disappointing not to be able to go again!
Hope everyone is doing well and maybe I'll see some of you at the reunion. It's coming fast, so get your registration in.
