Betsy's Story
Life
I attended Fresno City College and then 4 C's Business College following high school. In 1966 I met and married Richard, moved to Dinuba and became a farmer's wife. In 1972 we bought his grandfolks place and became parents to Janelle, our first daughter. Our second daughter, Katie, joined us in 1981.
We still live on the farm, although it's much smaller than it once was. One girl is married, in Visalia, and the other engaged, in Seattle. We have two precious grandaughters, Ainsley and Emma, and with the upcoming marriage will get two new grandsons, Matt and Ryan. And we mus'nt forget the one on the way that we'll meet this spring. I have worked on and off, here and there, but mostly have loved being a stay-at-home mom and wife - and now Gramma.
We are, and have been, active in our church, and are grateful to God for the many blessings He's given us. And even more so for being beside us through the tough times.

t Buy, driving south five days a week. He loves playing with big boy toys.
Richard loves to tinker in his shop, enjoys working with wood, has spent time fishing, watches sports on TV and we both have golf clubs. I have recently taken up machine quilting and I love to read and to travel. I'm also a Red Hatter!
My mom just passed away at the age of 94 and I miss her alot. The good news is I had her for 62 years. the bad news is that I got really used to it. But the really good news is that she's now in Heaven with no more aches and pains!
Richard's dad just turned 94 and is doing well. He is our remaining parent and we are so grateful to still have him. One of my jobs these days is seeing to it that all is well with him. He is doing really well at this point, another item on our grateful list.
That's it in a very small nutshell. Richard and I are celebrating our 42nd year of marriage this year. It's gone by so fast, but so much has happened and it seems like forever!
If you've read this far, it would be fun if you would drop a line and let me know. I'd love to hear from you.
