Life
Hey everyone. My daughter Kelly is now 27 yrs. old. I have an 10 yr. old granddaughter named Star. They and Star's Dad live with me. We share a nice house up in Paddock Lake, Wisconsin (halfway between Kenosha and Lake Geneva. We share our home with 4 cats. Three black cats named Raven, Rambo & Sid Vicious (Raven is mom) and a grey striped orphan named Itty-Bitty.
Workplace
I had many jobs after high-school and then worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell/Ameritech from 1989-1999, I took the buy-out when SBC took over. After that I bartended and waitressed and cooked(all at the same time). I was the only singing bartender in Kenosha county. WXRT. While I looked for a radio gig somewhere down there in suburbia I kept bartending until on my way to work April 14,2003 my car was rear-ended while sitting still in traffic and I was injured. I can no longer bartend. I found a job hosting Karaoke and DJing. My dream job! I got to play music, talk and sing for a living and I didn't have to make drinks at the same time anymore! Unfortunately the more I did the DJing part of the job, the less use of my arms I had, MRI's showed torn tendons in both shoulders. I had surgery on one and it didn't really fix it so I'm not having the other one done. I need to find a band that can play Me and Bobby Mcgee, White Rabbit, Alanis Morrisette, Pretenders etc. Hope to hear from more of you soon! Betz
