Our moose's final message for the day! <3 Bette
Dan was out weeding when he spotted these tracks. So glad we captured them before the heavy rains came.
A closer view...
Dan's hands guide you to the tracks and put these awesome creatures' size into perspective.
Midnight, our fantastic feline, has been bugging me for weeks to get the house ready for the fall holidays... TODAY WAS THE BIG DAY!
Midnight's grooming table was the first to tackle... Have to keep the baby girl happy. She has her own Halloween Cat with a treat bag for kitties.
You''d think The Big Pumpkin had already arrived when Midnight spotted her Catnip Treats!
Midnight loves her luminaria! It sits atop her tree cookie nail salon, so she can enjoy it during her manicures...
Close up of Middie and her TREE COOKIE!
Midnight says, "I'm so excited... We're having company for Sunday dinner and Mama (a.k.a. Bette A. Stevens) finally has the house decked out for The Big Pumpkin!"
Company is coming and Middie can hardly wait for them to see all of the decorations!
Midnight loves to sit in the back window and watch for all of the wildlife. If you CLICK the photo, you'll be able to see the little group of carved giraffes from South Africa that were a gift from one of my amazing student
MIDNIGHT: "The doorbell is ringing and I'm so happy when I have company... Thanks for stopping by... Have a Happy Halloween!"
Midnight, on her grooming table, playing with Madcap, her catnip mouse... Too cold to chase the real thing today!
Lilac (front living room window) is waiting for some feathered friends...
Looking out back from the kitchen window... The new fallen snow is lovely.
Time for a tea break...
Book shelf in our new room (1 of 5 at the Farmstead)...
