Bette's Story
After graduating from good ol' Franklin I attended PCC for one semester. My best friend and I decided we wanted $$$ so we both went to work for banks. After I married I attended LATTC and got an AA Degree in Fashion Design. Shortly after grad. my husb. and I moved to the Bay Area because my husband's job relocated.
In the East Bay, Castro Valley, I worked for an ecology center. Far removed from the fashion scene at that point! I ended up divorcing and left the Bay Area for Eureka where I attended College of the Redwoods. I didn'...Expand for more
t quite finish the two years when I had a near fatal accident. My then husband and I then moved to Davis so he could transfer to UCDavis.
I volunteered for the SPCA for many years while I was married and was a foster home for cats, dogs and rabbits.
After I divorced (again) I started working for the SPCA and have been working for them ever since. I work at the SPCA Thrift Store and arrange the hard goods and dress the mannnequins in lots of avant garde outfits! I also work for our veterinarian. I still foster cats and rabbits.
