Bette's Story
Life
I was married for 28 years to Charlie Hines from Freeport whom I met in my senior year. He passed away from cancer in September of 1994. We had moved to Fort Lauderdale in June of 1973. Our son Rob is a graduate of Florida State University. He is married for eleven years now and moved to Texas a few years ago.

eceived a sabbatical leave to move to Georgia and do volunteer work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I took an additional year's personal leave and became a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia. I am affiliated with The Atlanta Properties Group and am now officially retired from the Broward County Public Schools and living in Marietta, GA. I do not work full time in real estate.....it would get in the way of my traveling, which I do a lot.
