Bettie Johnson:

CLASS OF 1967
Wilmington, NC

Bettie's Story

Originally from Wilmington, North Caroilina; graduated in 1967 from Williston. I am divorced. Have no children except for my many "furry children" over the years. Received three college degrees. Licensed with the State of Michigan as Mental Health Specialist. Retired after 35 years of work in 2005 but have continued working in Private Practice as a Mental Health Specialist since 2005. Still am a "bookworm", love to read, grow green plants and travel when I can. I am also a musician. I sing, play, direct and rearrange music as I have time. I seem to have inherited some gifts with plants from my father as I have a green thumb with green plants. I have them at home and in and outside my office...Expand for more
at work. The entire staff and clients report that they really enjoy seeing and watching them grow. They are very healing and comforting! I love the Lord, am very involved in my church and am awaiting Christ's soon return. I am proud of Williston, my High School and will never forget the time spent there, my teachers and my classmates. I gained so much from the wonderful teachers that I was blessed to have had while at Williston--insights, wisdom, concepts and guudance--that have helped me over my years in colleges and in my everyday life. I pray God's blessings and protection on each of my former classmates. May 2018 and the coming years be most wonderful and rewarding years for each of you!
