For more info go to myspace.com/jaxbet. I married at 15 and moved to to the Canadian border in Idaho where I lived for years with no running water or electricity. (stupid? yep!)but the lessons learned were worth it. We moved to Palm Springs on and off from 1981 on and eventually full time in 86. After 15 years we divorced in 93. I moved to Orange County, dated like crazy and eventually bought my husband in a bachelor auction! We married in 98. Neither of us have children, although our Yorkie and Abyssinian think they are!
I became a general contractor specializing in water damage including mold. My business was very successful and I recently closed it down to dote on my wonderful husband full time and develop investment properties.

Workplace
My first husband was a general contractor, we built everything from log homes to large churches. When I divorced I had the opportunity to work with a dear friend and learn the water damage business, we eventually became partners and finally I went out on my own. Being a woman general contractor has really been a lot of fun.
My accounting background combined with working as a subcontractor for years has really helped my releationships with my subcontractors now.
After 10 years of 24/7 I burnt out and am not currently working in an official capacity (hopefully won't again either!)
I continue to do consulting for water damage and interior design.
