Betty's Story

I returned to Belleville, IL in November, 1992. I had lived in St. Charles County, Missouri for the 15 years before that. I was retired from Mallinckrodt/Tyco Healthcare/Covidien after 30 years as a Microbiologist/Microbial Analyst. I spend as much time as possible visiting my two grandsons in Castle Rock, CO. I am a member of Signal Hill United Methodist Church and St. Louis Area Mensa. I love to read mysteries (especially ones written by women authors). I try to attend Silver Sneakers, exercise at the YMCA, and Yoga classes each week. I like to line dance with some of my girl friends and go to lunch with some of them once a month. Doc Martin on PBS. The Class of 65, 70th birthday party in September, 2017, was a lot of casual conversation and good food. We have some excellent bakers in the class. I hope to see a lot of you at our next event. I still like to see the local sights with friends and I follow live music in the area. The Class of '65 55 year reunion, scheduled for September of this year (2020/2021) was cancelled. We have rescheduled our 75th birthday party for September 4,, 2022. Keep your address current with the committee and you will be notified by mail, probably a postcard. Our class has seen and survived a lot in the past 56 years . Stay well and we can compare experiences at our birthday party.

It looks like we were in Casey, Il 3 years ago. It was a fun, windy day as I remember.......Adventure awaits!

Hahaha ha, it was yesterday at the post office. Fortunately, I was able to figure out the machine in the lobby and avoided a lot of it.
