Betty's Story
Life
Married to same gentleman since 1962. Have two grown children, two grandchildren. Have worked at same company (Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies) since December 1963. Due to serious health issues, left the company in December 2003 on a dis-ability retirement. Failing health has kept us from traveling and enjoying retirement, but arising each morning does have its benefits! I have a loving, caring, family, and a strong network of friends who lend their support and prayers. Faith, family, friends, and humor - it just doesn't get any better than that!

Attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA from 1976-1978 - night classes (attended though corporate tuition refund plan working toward attaining B.A. degree) - dropped out when father became critically ill. After his passing, just never when back and finished up degree program.
