Life
I love reading all the other bios people write so I thought I should write my own. Never made it to far from Odessa, I've been in Lexington since I got married back in 1983. Married Glen Smith, a 1980 graduate of Lexington. We have one son, who is 21, and is a Junior at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Ks. where he plays Basketball. Glen teaches school at the Technical Center here in Lexington, and I'm Asst. Vice-president of B & L Bank, my employer for the last 26 years. I've been very fortunate to stay in contact with several of the 1981 classmates. One of my biggest dreams in life would be to do a (do over) and go back to High School again. I'd make it better the 2nd time around. Some of the people I knew in school, and teachers I had, made a LARGE impact on my life, and I have nothing but fond memories of those days. Life is good, no complaints, enjoy the outdoors, four-wheelers, animals (three cats, and one dog). Our favorite thing is gathering around the fire-pit on our large patio with friends and just hanging out. We own 7 acres, but it is within the city limits of Lexington. I always look forward to the class reunions, we have a small group of people from the class of 1981 that gather each year at Bennett Springs, I wish the whole class had an annual reunion around homecoming, would be great to see everybody more often.
