Betty's Story
Life
I've been married to the same man, Seth Kaye, since 1970. He graduated Van Buren, but we met in college. I have a son named Andy who was born in Oct. 1977, and for those of you who check this out, you might remember my brother, Bob Lesser (1945-1965) and AJHS '63. chool system. I'm still in touch with many of my Andrew Jackson friends and have found old friends through Classmates. I even keep in touch with some of my old students!
I taught for 3 years at John Bowne HS in Flushing, 1972-1975 and at JFK in Riverdale for 1 1/2years, 1975-1976. I left teachig to raise my children and went back to it in 1991 at Port Richmond High School on Staten Island. I was there until 2000.
