Life I married a man from Kansas in his senior year of Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University In 1967. He then graduated in 1968 and we then moved to Pampa, Texas with Cabot Corporation out of Boston. They make Carbon Black out of Oil. After a little over a year there, we moved to Ville Platte, Louisiana and lived there for 2 1/2 years. I gave birth to our daughter, while he moved us to Franklin, Louisiana, where we stayed for the next 4 years. We then moved to Ahwaz, Iran were I stayed for aprox. 9 months and decided to leave with our daughter in the fall of 1975. I returned to Decatur for a short time and moved to Wichita, KS., where I obtained a divorce in 1976. I had started attending Wichita State University and obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Social Work. I then attended Graduate School at The University of Kansas and obtained an MSW in Clinical Social Welfare. Upon graduation worked for a local Child Guidance Center, where I had worked as a practicum student my senior year. Upon completing my post graduate licensing I started doing some Private Practice, which I have always done part time since then until going full-time in 1996.
