Betty's Story
Life
After graduating from high school in 1965, I began working for the Agricultural Stabilization & Conservation Service in Madison, Virginia being the 1st black to work in a government office in that town. I moved to Washington, D.C. in October 1966 and began my Federal career working for the U. S. Civil Service Commission. I attended the Northern Virginia Community College, the University of Maryland and the USDA Graduate School.

and have one daughter, Tia Robinson. She is an aspiring actress living in LA, California. I retired as an Information Technology Manager from USDA, Food and Nutrition Service in Alexandria, Virginia with 43 years of Government service. I reside in Springfield Virginia with my husband, Alton. On June 6, 2017, I became a grandmother to a beautiful little girl, Phoenix Alexandra.
I love sports cars, dancing, enjoying family, friends and traveling.
