Betty's Story
Life
I live in Sacramento, California now. I am retired after teaching science for 32 years. I met my husband, Ray Torres, in Mr. Barr's class. We have been married for 42 years. We have 4 grown sons and 1 granddaughter.
Ray is retired also after playing drums professionally for 45+ years. He is on dialysis and does not have the stamina to play too long. He still does some recordings.

We are still in Sacramento, and we keep in touch with Mr. Barr. What a great person!!! Life is good although there have been some medical problems.
Update8/20/13
I made it to our 50th reunion, but it was bittersweet without Ray. We were blessed with 48 years of love, happiness and 4 wonderful sons. I miss him more than words can express. I am thankful for the support of family and friends. I can still say "life is good".
