Betty's Story
After we graduated, I worked in a factory for a little over a year, then went to Norhtwestern Michigan College in Traverse City to get my diploma as a Licenced Practical Nurse. I, then, got married to a '68 Owosso graduate.
I worked as an LPN for 25 yrs at Owosso Memorial Hospital, then I grad-
uated with my Associates Degree in nursing from Lansing Commumity College.

rk nights in the Critical Care Unit. As of Nov. 4, '09, I will have 38 years in at Memorial. My husband and I have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren, the oldest is a senior at Owosso High this year. About 5 years ago, I took a home study course to become a Legal Nurse Consul-
tant. I am certified but have not had any luck finding attorneys that will hire me to help them with their medical cases. Oh well. I'll keep trying.
