Bev's Story

Life I married Gordon (Gale) Bowen (North County Tech Class of 1980) from Florissant in 1983 after he joined the Navy. We've lived in Long Beach, CA, Kingsport, TN, Charleston, SC, and retired 3 years ago here in Virginia Beach, VA. We have 2 kids, Gordon Jr. (11) and Jennifer (6). Gordon Jr. plays baseball and is active in the Boy Scouts. Jennifer is playing softball and will graduate from Kindergarten in June. My husband works for Better Living Patios & Sunrooms, and he is also active in the Boy Scouts. I work for CardioVascular Associates, Ltd. (CVAL) in the billing office. I have be...Expand for more
en with them for 6 years and just got promoted from being a Patient Account Representative to being the Credentialing Coordinator. I do the credentialing for 19 (soon to be 21) doctors, 2 Physician Assistants (soon to be 4), and 3 Nurse Practitioners. I keep up with their licensing, continuing education units, and supply this information to the necessary facilities (hospitals, insurance companies, and other institutions). I just became more active in Boy Scouts by becoming a Venturing Unit Commissioner; I'm basically an advisor to 2 Venturing Crews. I hope to be able to come to the reunion.
