Bev's Story
Let's see, 45 years in a nutshell. After high school I attended Clark College and worked at the VA hospital. I moved to Nebraska and went to a small school that was affiliated with my church. In 1972 I went to work for The Columbian newspaper in Vancouver...and except for a few years when my son was very young I stayed at that paper for nearly 20 years...Expand for more
. I married in 1979 and divorced in 2000. I have a son who is now 31 as well as three stepsons and 5 step granchildren. While married, I lived aboard a sailboat for five years in Port Townsend, WA...quite an experience for this non water enthusiast. After working for The Oregonian for nine years, I am happily living the retired life in Portland, OR.
