Hello fellow Classmates & Friends...Pray ALL these years have been terrific for you an any tuff spots in the roads of life,help'd us to learn valuable lessons! They sure have for me.Fortunately I managed to get my life in order & on the right track.As all U might recall "Married" students were banned frm.all Sch.activities.That SUCKED for me & even then I thought that was unfair.However,it became a positive for me!When I was told I would NOT be allowed to attend graduation ceremonies,I took an early grad.I did receive my Diploma! IT w-a-s mailed to me by the U.S. mail service. After I finished the first semester of my Sr.yr.I entered Nursing Sch.at the ol' West Tx.Hosp./Sch. Of Nursing. Took me 9mths.but got my L.V.N. Mike O'Neal,my husbd.was killed in a Pkup. Wreck.Married Keith Cagle but only for 14mths.We parted as friends,know'g our relationship should've been left at that..friendship! 4yrs. & 6mths.later I married Jack Wilhite.We just celebrated 39yrs.of a great marriage together! Him & I had one child,a son,while Mike &I had two..a daughter & a son.My oldest son,Toby was shot & killed by his soon to have been "X",just 9dys.before their divorce.That w-a-s a difficult time in my life,to say the least.However,the Lord put a real special verse in the Bible just for ME...it reads..."By the grace of God go I !". IF only y'all knew how true that verse is for me,U might jus' pass out! Ha-ha! Example...sense 1990 to today's date I've had a total of 48 surgeries with 3 more to go,that we know of. Now understd. MY verse? Ha! I'm fine still going strong,well I'm still going,that is. .Ha-Ha! We live out in the country of Ropesville,Tx.It's Sth.of Wolfforth.I don't do anymore professional sing'g or play'g music anymore.But,we do get down & sing/play guitar & piano for fun & pleasure now.My "track"DAZE ended when I left Sch. Track will always be remembered with great fondness..! We live on 4acres.Have 5 horses,a total of 7 dogs..with 4 outside & 3 inside. ALL the frogs,rabbits & birds are to-o-o many in number to count. We do love it out here & thoroughly enjoy the outdoor country life.!.! Jack has gone back to "Team-Roping", an is actually really "good"at it.!.! Infact he just qualified, again this yr., to rope in the Las Vagas Team-Roping Finals in early Dec.of this yr. We ride horses,a lot.! I usually ride while he's at the practice-pin. Last summer I was able to ride...everyday but now I have no one to ride with,out in this area. Riding everyday is certainly missed by ME...!!! Anyone out there want riding as much as weather permits..between now & winter setting in.???? I'd l-o-v-e that again! Let me know.Well, I still dable in "Art" some. Mainly drawings only, in Blk.Indigo Ink.Never did like "color" nor "paint'g in all those yrs. of Art. Infact the Lubbock Art Guild as me listed as an "Artist", which I find humarious. Jack has his own business in Lub.now & has had for the past 12yrs.Now he fights to get Company..Cooperate Taxs LOWERED. He's approx. 97% successful with all his clients.He left the Lub.Central Apprasial District after 9-10 or 12yrs.Time has a way of dimming my memory,these "DAZE".!! Ha-ha! Our son works for Dad & about to finish out his 10th.yr.of doing so.We're extremely proud of him & all his accomplishments at the age of 32 now.He truly has become a remarkable young man..one we're proud to call "Son"!
