Beverly's Story
As most of you know, I moved back and forth during high school from Panhandle to Mt. Pleasant and back. I didn't finish my senior year, but did go on and get my GED in Amarillo. I got married in 1974 and had a daughter in 1978. Moved to Mt. Pleasant, Tx and got a divorce after 7 yrs. of marriage. It was hard being a single parent, but I did it. Then I remarried and was married for another 7. I have a son that was born in 1990. He blessed me with a beautiful grandaughter and my first in 2010 and the day before his birthday. I did attend college, but was unable to finish to do my son's illness when he was small. I have worked, worked, worked and worked. nagement. My life has been a basically good one. I have no complaints. There are some things I would like to have changed but I look back as those being learning experiences. My brother and his family are living in Amarillo, my sister and her family lives in Mt. Pleasant, Texas and mom and dad have passed on. My daughter has given me 3 grandsons. God has been good to me and my strong faith has helped me get through the tough times. Not very exciting huh? But I AM HAPPY! Be sure to check out the pictures of some friends and family.
