Beverly's Story
After leaving Belton, I moved to Houston TX and later attended Sam Houston State University ini Huntsville Tx (yes where the prison is). I married in 1981, had a daughter in 1983 and graduated in 1983. I had two more children, both boys, in 1984 and1986. I worled as a social worker for the prison system for a few years and then moved to
Bryan/College Station where I did mental health community work. My husband and I moved to...Expand for more
Houston in late 1990 and we still live here. I work for the VA in the benefits section. My daughter is now 25 and living here in Houston. My oldest son attends UNT in Denton Texas, and my youngest son recently finished a degree in Culinary Arts and still lives with us. We have two cats and a dog and are looking forward to grandchildren when the time comes.
I remember my time at Belton fondly and would love to hear from you.
