Life Hello dear friends. I'm still walking into the blackboard jungle every day as a first-grade teacher for the Boston, Mass. public schools. I keep getting older, but my students are continually six. Well, ok, sometimes one has a birthday and I experience life from the viewpoint of someone who has reached the ripe old age of seven. Technology has brought a lot of change to the elementary classroom. A cell phone and computer save me from isolation, but that bathroom time thing is still a challenge. I'm happily married (not an easy job, but someone's got to do it) and my husband and I have no children. Having three cats doesn't equal having children, but we still feed them, house them, hug them, take care of them when they're sick, and continually scoop poop.
