HI everyone... The roads of life have been winding...as most roads are-- fortunately, my family was there for me when I was heading the wrong way-- with two small babies.. A better way was provided.. we have traveled there together... I certainly wasted the first 3 years of NPH just being a clown--- then it was almost over and I rushed to join in as much as possible---- drams, librarian, choir, -- everything I could... and it was ending.... Ran away with the wrong boy, even younger than I was...just to escape--- Two beautiful babies , tho--- my gift from that... then my whole life changed on a chance visit to the SOUTH -- for a two week stay... lol In the forty years or so, of living in the South,( that visit stretched out!!!) I have seen things I never thought I would see, but also seen changes I believed would come to pass...I have missed New England..There is not a year that has passed , when I didn't return at least once...My dearest friends are there--my sisters are there, my family... The biggest surprise was that I became a nurse, as that was never a goal ...The opportunity was there, a wonderful career..very interesting ;rewarding, also... Regrets? I have a few, and they are that I have hurt people I cared for ...Being young is not an excuse... I left New England --but never for good--I will always return to my OCEAN STATE... to the family and friend...Expand for more
