Beverly J's Story
Oh how I wish I could go back in time and graduate with the friends that I grew up with, Pam, Nancy, Judy and more. I married young and had a child to keep my boyfriend out of Viet Nam. His lottery in the draft was coming up. When I saw Pam last she said, you just went away... I moved to San Francisco abruptly in 1965. I married and divorced 5 years later, I moved to Portland Oregon in 1968. I raised a son and five daughters who have blessed us with 16 grandchildren. They are my life. My husband Stephen and I have been married for nearly 40 + years. He is my angel in the flesh. I paint...Expand for more
and I write. I love to do both. My mother is now deceased and my dad is well and living in Roseburg, Oregon. I remember having a crush on Freddie when I was in grade school. I had a huge crush on Bruce and he hated girls. Ron use to walk the halls on his hands :) I could go on. I love the redwoods, the harbor, the lighthouse and I was fortunate enough to have them as my playground. I have not once taken such surroundings for granted. I was blessed and I still am. I don't know when I will get to Crescent City again but I am trying for July or August. every so often I have to go home :)
