Beverly's Story
I was Beverly Goddard now last name Witts.
After high school..I wanted to be a teacher, but wasn't sure in teaching what. Decided to do a little travelling first, spent a year in Hawaii, a year in England before a seven month tour of Europe and Asia. I ended up in Perth, West Australia where I have spent 34 years. Great place to live and raise children. I did end up teaching but I went back to Edmonton to get my Dip in Computer Software. I teach Information Technology at various colleges in Perth, Western Australia. In the year 2003 I took a train trip across Canada to Nova Scotia. I was married, now divorced, have two wonderful children.
I have a lovely daughter Claudia, who is 30 and studing to become an actress. She attended Vic Comp in 1996 - 1997, when we spent two years in Edmonton. She lives in Melbourne.
My son Alex who is 28, a mad keen ice hockey player; who has twice represented the state of Western Australia for under 18's. He has been accepted to play for a team in Sydney in 2005. Both pretty great people.
Besides studying Italian, I am also learning Latin American dancing and painting water colours.
