Beverly's Story

Life My name at the time of graduation of my class was Beverly June, I married Norman Fuller, after 4 children,I divorced him in 1970. Married Ed Goodrich and moved to Olean, where I still reside ( Now Single ) I am a nurse and work in a Drs. office in Olean for 30 + yrs and love it. I have 5 wonderful kids and 8 grandchildren Would love to hear from some of you. I loved to be with friends. I was a little wild and always willing to try something new (with limitations) I remember the Cameron kids that lived in our neighborhood, and all the neughborhood kids playing in our big yard on William St. We played hide and seek in the cemetary across the street. I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that Iwas a crazy, as my parents were poor, and could never send me to nursing school. As it turns out, they were wrong. When I married Ed, I got my GED, and went to nursing school, and got my LPN, and have worked every since. I like to drive in my car to blow off steam. Sometimes I can drive for hours. Now that the price of gas is so high, I may have to find another way to vent. I've lived in many places since I left Gouverneur. I lived in Sprageville for approx. 8 yrs. When I got divorced and married Ed I moved to Cobleskill, NY for about 3 yrs, then Ed was transferred to Olean NY near the PA border/Buffalo area, where I have lived for the pa...Expand for more
st 30 + yrs. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Jackie Maier, because she was my best friend all through high school. I love to paint (acrylics) I have done many projects. Anyone reading this that would like to share that interest, I would love to hear from you. Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. Never thought I would end up so far away from Goubverneur, and that most of my family would be so far away. But love to travel and visit them all. I have a daughter in Florida, a sister in Arizona, a brother in Syracuse, a brother in Cananda, and a daughter and brother still in Gouverneur. Makes life interesting. Family get togethers are the best. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my mobile home and add on a big family room on the front, and a big deck on the back. My dream home would be a new 3 BR ranch with a big porch in the country. I love the country. If I won $100 million, I'd give a portion of it to breast cancer research as my older sister passed away with breast cancer at age 55, then spend the rest on my kids,my grandchildren , a new car and buy a small house. Even in my 60's I still dress like the teen agers. I love the change in syles, and try to keep up with the current styles. My daughters are my inspiration. In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by paying off my house and hope to travel more.
