Life
Hello friends!!! Well, right out of high school, I went to Purdue, and then to Ball State. In 1984 I ran out of money, so I moved to Indianapolis and got a job coordinating and interpreting for the deaf. I met my husband on one of those interpreting jobs, and the following year we moved to Boulder, Colorado. We camped, skiied, hiked, and explored out there for 6 years! What a blast!!! I finished my BA degree in Psychology in Colorado. Then, when we were expecting our first child, we wanted to be closer to family, so we moved back to Indiana in 1991. I currently live in Fort Wayne. rried for 20 years to Dave Lubs, the man of my dreams! We have 2 wonderful children, Melanie and Nicholas, who are very involved in theater and music. Dave is an optometrist here in Fort Wayne. I still do some freelance interpreting for the deaf, but I have a full-time job here at home, because I home educate my children. I also write and direct independent films. We have a travel trailer, so we go camping as often as we possibly can, which is about 40 nights a year! Besides camping, we love to travel, snow ski, and visit museums and wineries. My hobbies right now are making wine and screenwriting.
