Life
5'7", 128-130 lbs. a perfect 36 figure(12-12-12)ha, ha! Still girlish and athletic. I play tennis, walk, bike-ride,waterski,and love to dance.(I just deleted a few things 4/23/09). Shortly after graduation (3 years) I became a military wife and had 2 children, a son Michael, who lives here in FL and a daughter, Melody, who lives in Charleston, SC. They each have one son. I became deaf shortly after my son's birth and have lived my life as if I wasn't. To many, it is a surprise that I am, as I lip read quite well.I had a cochlear implant surgery in 2001 after completing 2 years of college at age 59, going through classes totally deaf and still making the National Dean's List with a 4.0 average. I am now a single retiree enjoying traveling quite a bit. Life began again with the sounds of life...new horizons and many new avenues opened up for me, both pleasurable and challenging.
I have always been an active volunteer for many organizations and charities and find myself running a 114 unit condo association for the last three years. What a real challange that has been, although it has been tough in some respects it has opened my eyes in dealing with the lives of the many residents, their complaints and their needs.

reer traditions of his father and grandfathers by his attendence at the Citadel, SC. As a third year cadet, he has already brought great pride to all of us as he has been singled out by the upper classmen as a perfect example of what excellence by example should be. He is now a Master Sargeant. We are glad he could take up the "gaunlet of life" since his father was medically discharged as a paraplegic from the Naval Seals just after Nicholas's birth. Both of his deceased grandfathers were career military men, (Marine & Army) and so he is carrying on for all of them in the Air Force. We now have all the branches covered!!!
Life is not always easy....but I have vowed that I would do all that I possibly can to make it a better place in which to live for all my friends and family with the help of the Lord.
Someday, I intend to come up to Baltimore and meet with some of the people that I have been corresponding with for the past few years, whom I connected with through Classmates.com.
Thank you, for adding such pleasure to my life as I was able to re-capture some pleasant memories from the past.
Curling up with a good book is my way of relaxing. MY WILDEST thing in school was having a crush on one of my classmates unknown to him. I often wonder what became of him..................
