Beverly's Story
Life
Life has taken many turns for me. Currently I am married to a wonderful man (finally, it took 4 tries) and have two wonderful children (both boys). My husband came with grandchildren (7 of them) and one greatgrandchild. My youngest son is expecting his first baby this coming April. So I am now a grandma. I graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center with my dental hygiene degree 15 years after graduating from DHS. So I have been a hygienist for the last 20 ...Expand for more
years and love it. And they told me at DHS that I would never make it in a science related job! I enjoy working with the less fortunate, hence I do a lot of mission work. My greatest adventure was in the jungle villages of Peru, South America where I introduced toothbrushing to the natives. Right now life is kinda routine but that is OK too. I enjoy gardening, camping, cooking and being with family. I also enjoy traveling and have lived in Michigan, Texas and currently Indiana.
